Lab Technician – Colorfastness (Textile & Garment Testing)

You will act as the Member of Lab Team Representative in TUV SUD Vietnam office. You will support Lab supervisor in managing day-to-day activities within your responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the assigned physical tests and evaluate test results to ensure complying with the standards within turnaround time.
• Review and interpreter test results before giving to data entry
• Capable to read and understand international test standard and follow test procedure properly
• Ensure all equipment are operated properly and done calibration, maintenance/ verification in required interval.
• Support lab manager/supervisor for updating quality documents/ test development & validation
• Ensure the chemicals, glass-wear, consumables are stored properly as per safety procedures and do tracking to ensure the minimum stock for smooth operation within the test scope.
• Comply with laboratory quality management and safety guidelines, keep working area organized and be safe.
• Be responsible for other tasks as authorized or assigned by the Lab Manager/ Supervisor.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Garment/Textile/chemistry or its equivalent.
• 2-3 years experiences in operating textile tests preferred colourfastness tests or functional tests.
• Knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System is preferred.
• Good communication skill.
