Experience:
· Drive inspection out of the process and thereby increase the percentage of dock to stock materials.
· Drive for shortest processing time possible on all received material and continually improve the processing time performance. Recommend overtime or other recovery methods necessary.
· Review pertinent policies, procedures and guidelines with department staff. Provide instructions regarding the specific application of the policies and procedures to enable full understanding of all procedures specific to the individual assignments.
· Maintain a thorough knowledge and in depth understanding of the department operations including new systems, techniques and technologies. Strive for continuous improvement in methodology and technological levels utilized by the department.
· Assign daily activities and offer assistance and training to enable accurate fulfillment of all tasks.
· Maintain appropriate levels of operational supplies and support equipment.
· Assure that all tools, equipment and visual aids necessary for efficient and accurate completion of pertinent tasks are in proper working order and of the latest revision.
· Recommend capital equipment and human resource changes in the area where appropriate.
· Generate monthly, weekly and daily incoming quality report and share with SQE team to monitor the whole incoming performance.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
· Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
· Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
· Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
· Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
· Strong and convincing communication skills.
· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Post Secondary or equivalent.
· Plus 7 years experience in a relevant Jabil position or external work experience.
· Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
