About the Team
Humans are considered the weakest link in information security. In the Security Assurance team, we are tasked to change the behaviour of people towards information security by spreading awareness and establishing good information security practices within the company.
The Security Assurance team is a subset of Information Security team. As part of Security Assurance work, we ensure that Grab is following industry leading information security practices by complying to Global security standards. We do this by defining policies, reviewing internal processes and applications for compliance with policies. We check Grab’s vendors, and evaluate if they are good security Spartans.
We are a fun loving and culturally diverse team where you will enjoy learning about Information Security, and actively work on some really interesting projects. Here, we have many ex-auditors from Big four consulting firms, so you will get to learn about consulting and auditing profession. This opportunity will expose you to learn about human behaviour/psychology and information security.
Duties and Responsibilities
To change the behaviour of Grabbers towards Information Security
Understand about Information Security, and learn about industry best practices for information security awareness
Assist the mentor to run existing awareness campaigns
Scope of work may not involve a lot of programming/coding but you will get to work on interesting security tools/ technologies.
Understand Grab’s culture and bring fresh ideas to revamp existing awareness campaigns
Learn and use new creative tools (e.g. Photoshop, iMovie) to edit/ create interesting posters, and videos
Create and maintain JIRA dashboards to track the progress of various security awareness initiatives
Experience with Industry leading tools for information security awareness, including Phishing Platform to run Phishing attacks on Grab staff
Experience Design tools such as Photoshop (or something similar), iMovie
Experience Internal Grab applications including JIRA, Wiki 4. Excel Macros/ VB Scripts
Learning Objectives
Learn about Information security best practices
Get to learn about various interesting tools for information security awareness (including a Phishing platform to phish Grab staff!)
Create a big impact on people’s behaviour towards Information Security by running interesting awareness campaigns
Requirements
Only for candidates who are available from Jan - Jun 2020
Undergraduate or Postgraduate in Information Systems (with minors in Design subject is a plus) or Computing (with minors in Design subject is a plus)
Creative mind with outgoing personality
Good interpersonal and presentation skills
Basic technical competency
Keen interest to learn new tools/ technology
