IC Design Engineer

• Participate in the design, simulation, and testing of integrated circuits (IC) at levels ranging from block to full chip.

• Perform RTL design (Register Transfer Level) using hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.

• Collaborate with the Verification team to build testbenches, conduct functional verification, and debug designs.

• Optimize performance, power consumption, and area (PPA – Performance, Power, Area) of the circuits.

• Work with the Physical Design team to ensure synthesis and layout meet design requirements.

• Participate in design review stages, timing analysis, power estimation, and address any arising technical issues.

• Write technical documentation, prepare design reports, and support handover to production teams (tape-out).

Education Level:• Graduated from University with a major in Electrical – Electronics, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.

• Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree or specialized courses in VLSI / IC Design.

Experience:• 1–3 years of experience in IC Design, ASIC/SoC Design, or Digital/Analog Design.

• Recent graduates with a strong background in digital logic and circuit design will also be considered.

Professional Knowledge:• Proficient in one of the hardware description languages (HDL): Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog.

• Thorough understanding of the ASIC / FPGA design flow: specification → RTL design → synthesis → place & route → verification → tape-out.

• Experience using EDA tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, ModelSim, Cadence Genus/Innovus.

• Good knowledge of CMOS circuits, timing analysis, low power design, and clock domain crossing.

• Familiarity with mixed-signal design, layout, or DFT (Design for Test) is an advantage.
