HSE SPECIALIST

HSE Specialist manage on-site activities related to safety, health, through planning, implementation, executions, regular site-walks and reports, providing daily advices, incident investigations and coordinating closure of action items.

1. Onsite checking

• Oversee operations on a daily basis to ensure all employees follow local and cooperate safety regulations;
• Cooperate with relevant departments to improve the work environment is in safe condition;
• Take immediate and appropriate action when an "imminent risk of serious injury" has been identified;
• Maintain & apply safety operating system in working area;
• Issue work permits and monitor implementation.

2. Machinery safety

• Maintain and enforce safety requirements for new machinery and equipment, processes, and materials;
• Design, organize the workplace, and other ergonomic factors;
• Assess work conditions and the corresponding evaluation of risks.

3. Health

• Identify potential risks, cooperate with medical staff, to figure out the solution to improve employee’s health;
• Manage PPE delivery and usage efficiency.

4. Training & Reporting

• Develop and present training programs for employees at all levels;
• Complete all compliance training as required of safety engineer;
• Prepare reports for corporate safety, security & regulatory meetings.

5. Other job assigned by manager.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Major/Subject: Labor Safety, Environmental Engineering, and related technical fields;
• Experience: From a year of experience, prefer relevant experience in manufaturing;
• Language: Fluent in English, Chinese is a plus;
• Others: Proactive in the work, optimistic, creative, and carefully.
