HR Solution - Plant Coordinator

Job requirement

General job scope:

The primary role of this position is to support the Plant Coordinator in the following:

  • Support BAU (business as usual) document management for the employee lifecycle which includes; employee access, time and attendance system management, raising tickets for benefits administration, and face to face support; for Core Colleagues (Blue Collar) in their HR queries
  • Responsible for all BAU p-filing, but will be supported during peak season or periods with a high turnover by Plant Coordinators
  • To support any other HR administrative tasks on a needs basis which will include providing support on HR system timekeeping machines, password generation & distribution among others

Main responsibilities:

Workforce Administration:

  • To ensure timely delivery, obtain signatories of all letters for Core Colleagues (Blue Collar) employee movements; new hire, termination, severance, promotion, lateral move, disciplinary, 24/24 Insurance-related, etc.
  • To ensure the timely return of the signed copies to Workforce Admin Team via scanned copy
  • To support the raising of Employee Centre tickets for Core Colleagues to trigger HR processes


  • To maintain all active employee files to ensure that they are updated and containing all key documents that must be retained for any internal or external audit
  • To identify and highlight any missing documents
  • To identify and highlight any documents uncollected due to delay by employee or manager and escalate e.g. employment contracts
  • To prepare a report to escalate untimely documents

Project support:

  • On a needs basis, to provide support to the Plant Coordinators for any coordination or administrative support for plant projects

Plant reports & Support for Audits

  • Provide support for audits when required. Ensure that all documentation is available and complete

Job requirement

  • University degree or Diploma in HR or Business Administration
  • Basic understanding of labor law and statutory requirements 
  • Attention to detail and process driven
  • Compliance mindset
  • High integrity to maintain the confidentiality of employee personal information
  • Familiar in the use of excel, ability to execute basic formulas and pivot tables for basic analysis
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Open to developing new skills and growing
  • A team player who works well with other
