Job Summary

HR Senior Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive support across key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee experience, HR operations, and office administration. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth organizational processes, fostering a positive work environment, and aligning HR practices with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Focusing on recruitment for both new and replacement positions, ensuring alignment with workforce planning.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, orientation, probation tracking, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
  • Support initiatives related to employer branding and candidate experience.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a primary contact for employee matters, providing timely and effective support on HR-related issues.
  • Facilitate internal communication through regular updates and announcements.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities to strengthen team connection and workplace culture.
  • Monitor employee feedback and contribute to initiatives that enhance satisfaction and retention.

3. HR Operations

  • Oversee core HR processes such as compensation, benefits, and policy implementation.
  • Maintain and update salary structures, allowances, and conduct market benchmarking when needed.
  • Take primary responsibility for HR data management and reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies and labor regulations.
  • Tracking of contract expiration timelines and ensure timely execution of renewal or re-signing procedures.

4. Office Administration

  • Manage general office operations including vendor coordination, invoice processing, and travel arrangements.
  • Ensure the office environment is well-maintained and supports employee productivity.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to support administrative needs and operational efficiency.

Job requirement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisitions or HR Generalist roles (FnB industry).
  • Good English communication in both spoken and written
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
