Healthcare Support Manager (Health Insurance)

Job requirement

  • Oversee daily activities of the insurance billing office and the customer accounts office.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate billing of all insurance claims for Pharmacity customers, including through ExtraCare App.
  • Follow up customers’ sales enquiries from Extracare App.
  • Advocates sales, billing, collection and other processes in the Revenue Cycle, to ensure timely, effective and accurate work.
  • Be accountable and responsible for the implementation and training, insurance billing operations, including Accounts Receivable, payment posting and denial management.
  • Run reports monthly to stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage workload and work progress.
  • Support Senior Leadership team in instituting additional measures to scale Revenue Cycle Management organization.
  • Continuously build and improve the operating procedures for the Revenue Cycle Management processes.
  • Handles recruitment, training and other tasks.
  • Ensure quality of work performed by staff through training and mentoring with clear expectations and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the teams.
  • Go the “extra mile” to provide customer service and handle customers’ grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.

Job requirement

  • At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience in with hospitals or clinics or insurance companies.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims and reimbursement procedures preferred. 
  • Ability to collaborate and inspire others to solve problems and make sound decisions.
  • Communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely both verbally and in writing.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent customer service, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Aptitude to learn quickly
  • Ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be highly motivated, responsible and graceful under pressure.
  • Cool-tempered, with outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
  • Proficient abilities in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Vietnamese (English language will be a plus).
  • University degree.
