About the Role:
The successful candidate for this high impact role will build a deep understanding of our operations, from first mile, middle mile to last mile activities, while being constantly on the lookout for continuous improvement. Moreover, upon identifying positive process change for our business, you will take an active lead in tackling complex problems that affect Tiki’s operations and customers, and bring relevant insights in Transportation and Supply Chain.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
● Lead the Transport Operations and Technology (TMS)Teams to ensure that all performance targets are exceeded
● Lead the multi-modal Distribution function and its sub-teams to ensure successful operational execution to contractual performance standards.
● Ensure that there is a seamless relationship between the warehouses and transport/logisitcs functions across all sites and ensures that a positive relationship with the customer is maintained, whilst driving continuous improvement and sustainable growth
● Drive innovation and continuous improvement through engagement with key stakeholders.
● Accountable for the providing Strategic business and P&L financial direction for the Transport and Distribution element of the contract. You will lead strategy development, strategic alliances and annual planning process, business capture, project management Business governance and asset management
● Responsible for defining the strategic position regarding resources and investments made in new technologies, new business proposals, product systems and infrastructure. The Head of Transport reviews and approves programs and plans, and will sponsor and be heavily involved in opportunities for new business
● Formulate the long- and medium-term strategies for service standards and department
processes and policies
