Get to know the Role:
You will be responsible for leading overall business development efforts for Thailand. You will leverage your relationships and industry experience to build our portfolio of long-term strategic partnerships that bring value to Grab’s passengers and driver-partners.
Serve as a key member of the Grab Thailand Leadership Team to drive overall strategy.
Take the lead to define key segments to target, drive projects/deals end-to-end from closure to execution and maintain key relationships at senior levels of large corporate institutions.
Drive and create new partnerships that accelerate growth for Grab overall, working closely with operations, marketing, payments, product and business development teams throughout Southeast Asia (SEA).
Co-create business development plan and roadmap and ensure that this is synchronized with overall Grab strategic direction.
Support various regional business development initiatives to ensure it meets the company’s objectives.
The day-to-day activities:
Serve as a key member of the Grab Thailand leadership team, defining the current landscape, strategizing, and executing top business development/partnership opportunities.
Leverage personal network and generate new leads as required to identify opportunities to improve and iterate on user/driver-centric initiatives to improve user/driver experience.
Understand strategic issues facing the business and actively identify prospects/partners to engage by effectively developing and communicating a clear Grab value proposition specific to the partner’s business and use case.
Execute on Grab’s top partnership priorities in Thailand together with operations, marketing, product, and business development teams.
Continuously own the development and execution of all business development initiatives, ensuring proper planning and on time, on target execution.
Prepare and deliver regular business reviews to Grab management on progress, roadblocks, and solutions to increase customer adoption (users/drivers).
Track and analyze KPIs related to all initiatives and quickly build countermeasures closely working with cross-functional and cross country teams.
Develop, maintain and leverage senior relationships across Thailand.
Continuously develop initiatives that are customer-centric (users/drivers) by representing the voice of the customer in all initiatives with the aim of improving lives.
Ensure all initiatives meet strategic and financial objectives of the company.
Support to build and maintain a high performing team with a best in class team culture.
Proactively work with all regional business development teams to craft and share best practices, efficiently using common resources.
Continuously assist in the development of an arsenal of core tools and capabilities to enable all business development teams.
