Objective (1)
To build risk technology, risk technology projects, risk business analysts, risk decision engine teams from the scratch covering all processes, data and system functions for FinTech start-up company. The Manager must build a system-driven risk department using smart and effective systems, fully automated processes and using the state of art decision engine such as FICO Blaze Advisor. Be accountable for risk infrastructure projects (risk systems such as risk underwriting system, collections system, antifraud system for e-wallet, decision tools, data dictionaries, DWH requirements, etc...). Drive credit performance with technologies and process automation.

Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

Key accountabilities (2)

- Responsible for Risk Technology (the full development cycle), Risk Technology Projects, Risk Business Analysts and Risk Decision Engine departments.
- Manage all system and decision engine deliveries based on the agreement with CRO and risk business units.
- Daily communication with risk division development teams for each risk system, plan the delivery with project management team, prioritize requirements with business analysts and oversee changes in decision engine.
- Align with CTO about deployment process, IT OPS monitoring, and performance measures and infrastructure needed.
- Define roadmap and monthly, quarterly and yearly delivery plans for all risk systems and relevant functions in systems managed by finance or OPS division.
- Engage with external providers of services such as decision engine, payment getaway, call center system, phone services or SMS getaway.
- Be familiar with waterfall and SCRUM project delivery methodology.
- Capacity planning, hiring, staff development.
- Actively manage performance of all subordinated teams by setting clear objectives and KPIs, coaching and managing against these.
- Set up SLA with the business units, especially with Head of Risk Strategy, COO, CTO and Head of IT OPS
Implement quality assurance cross all IT delivery for risk systems.

Experiences and competencies (4)

- University degree
- At least 5 years’ experience as project manager, business analyst or developer lead for risk systems such risk underwriting system, collections system, antifraud system for e-wallet or decision engine.
- Familiar with various systems commonly used within the financial sector such as core system, call center system, SMS gateway, payment getaway etc.
- Managerial experience. Ability to lead and motivate staff to high productivity and efficiency of team up to 30 people.
- Pro-active and enthusiastic approach to providing leadership and direction to peers and subordinates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Presentation skills to communicate with top management and other business units.
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Organized. Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple tasks.
- Self-confidence. Self-motivated and goal driven. Orientation toward results.
