Job requirement

Head of risk Management will be responsible for managing the risk to an organisation, its employees, customers, reputation, assets and interests of stakeholders. Head of Risk Management may work in a variety of sectors and specialise in a number ofareas including:

  • Business continuity
  • Corporate governance
  • Enterprise risk
  • Information and security risk
  • Market and credit risk
  • Regulatory and operational risk
  • Technology risk.

Performance Expectations for Head of Risk Management position with details:

  • Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization
  • Risk assessment, which involves analyzing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business
  • Risk evaluation, which involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the organization such as costs, legal requirements, internal/external environmental factors, and evaluating previous handling of risks
  • Establishing and quantifying the organization’s 'risk appetite'
  • Manage KRIs and report to Management
  • Carrying out processes such as: implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans and activities.
  • Conducting audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors
  • Support and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.
  • Lead development of standardized and comprehensive portfolio quality reviews, especially portfolio segmentation, vintage analysis, collection analysis.
  • Develop operational capabilities in credit, market and operational risk assessment and monitoring capabilities; portfolio loss forecasting, vintage loss tracking, risk-based pricing.
  • To undertake other tasks as and when assigned by CEO

Job requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • 6-10 years progressive experience in risk management with expert knowledge of risk insight analytics.
  • Advanced in English. 
  • Prefer working experience in Banking/Finance industry
  • The ability to cope under pressure and to understand broad business issues
  • Numerical skills and the ability to evaluate costs
  • System experience. 
  • Effective written and oral communicator
  • Overall understanding of statistics and it application to business
