Overall responsible to lead and oversee Production Planning, Production Operation and Engineering/ Maintenance activities, functions and processes in the company which includes output/ productivity improvement, cost reduction initiatives and process improvements.
Daily:
- Oversee plant operations: output, capacity, quality, and delivery performance.
- Execute and monitor production schedules (MPS/MRP) and material availability.
- Manage labor allocation and equipment performance to minimize downtime.
- Track quality issues, scrap/reject rates, and provide coaching to supervisors and operators.
Weekly:
- Adjust production plans based on demand and capacity.
- Analyze production cost variances and drive cost-saving measures.
- Monitor takt time, productivity, and resolve bottlenecks.
- Hold weekly reviews with production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Support new product trials and conduct safety/risk assessments.
Monthly:
- Report key KPIs (productivity, OEE, OTIF, scrap rate).
- Control maintenance budgets and review preventive maintenance schedules.
- Track customer complaints and corrective actions.
- Review progress of process improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Yearly:
- Lead annual production planning, budgeting, manpower, and capital investment.
- Oversee CAPEX projects, automation, and equipment upgrades.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs and asset disposal.
- Conduct performance reviews, staff training, and lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
