About the role:
This role leads the company’s procurement activities, ensuring best value in cost, quality, and delivery across all goods and services. You will design and execute the overall procurement strategy while directly managing one assigned category from sourcing to delivery. The position requires strategic thinking, strong supplier management, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to support rapid business growth.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Procurement
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s expansion and operational plans.
Analyze demand and plan purchases to ensure timely supply while optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).
Establish and continuously improve procurement policies, workflows, and reporting.
Track KPIs and present performance updates to senior management.
2. Category Management
Oversee the full lifecycle of an assigned category: supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and performance monitoring.
Partner with internal teams (Design, Construction, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure products and services meet brand and operational standards.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and develop backup options to mitigate risk.
Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving and quality improvement opportunities.
3. Operational Coordination
Work closely with stakeholders to consolidate purchasing needs and resolve supply issues.
Supervise and develop procurement team members where applicable.
Coordinate with inventory management teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
4. Team Management & Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Assign tasks, set performance targets, and monitor progress against KPIs.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Build procurement capabilities to meet the company’s growth plans.
5. Other task & project assigned by Business Unit Leader
Candidate requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain roles, preferably in hospitality, construction, or retail/F&B chains.
Proven success in leading and developing a procurement or cross-functional team.
Strong track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and cost optimization.
Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skills.
Preferred: Experience with international sourcing and knowledge of import/export regulations.
