Job Description

As Head of PMX in Vietnam, you will be responsible for leading and directing Publicis Media’s overall buying and media operations to deliver growth by developing strategies and overseeing delivery of Publicis Groupe solutions as defined below:

Precision: Publicis Groupes data-driven, technology-enabled practice.  Precision exists to deliver holistic programmatic value to Clients. A global network of product strategists, marketers, solutions consultants, activation specialists, operations, data scientists and more – Precision is the guardian of Publicis Groupe’s programmatic solutions dedicated to the advancement and increased adoption of technology and data to drive client effectiveness and media efficiency.

APEX is an innovative and disruptive investment solution designed to create unique opportunities that deliver tangible business benefits for Publicis Media Clients. These opportunities take many forms, such as inventory discounts, guaranteed outcome buying models, and bespoke packages, but ultimately always answer a strategic or business challenge that our Clients are facing.

Partnerships are developed both regionally and locally with selected key vendors in order to provide unique, innovative, and ultimately functional, benefits for our Clients. We structure our Partnerships to promote true collaboration and best in class work across our Agencies.

You will need to clearly articulate our solutions to both Clients, Agencies, and vendors in order to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with the local market Agency and business unit leaders, as well as with the PMX regional leads (based in Singapore).

You have a broad understanding of the media buying landscape and a strong background in digital advertising with particular experience in programmatic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Articulate a clear vision and strategy for PMX
  • Revenue growth, driven by the core functions and solutions within PMX
  • Growth and advancement of the Precision offering
  • Growth and advancement of the APEX offering
  • Successfully implement and deliver best in class partnerships with major media partners
  • Identify and develop the products and services to accelerate PMX capability
  • Operational Excellence/Implementation of tools/initiatives: eg, GDD (globally distributed delivery), etc.
  • Regular reporting and tracking of progress across core functions
  • Management of wider PMX team, and development of their skillset and capabilities
  • Act as Spokesperson with major clients to elevate the perception and profile of PMX

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or MBA
  • 10+ years in digital media, with special emphasis on digital advertising
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • In-depth understanding of digital advertising landscape from either media planning or sales planner perspective
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Target and results driven
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication & presentation skills
  • Excellent time management / project management skills, with ability to manage detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels
