The day-to-day activities:

  • Develop strategy to enter new markets and maximize resources as well as business opportunities to achieve targets;
  • Identify, build relationships/partnerships with merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the GrabPay merchant network
  • Build, manage and develop Merchant Acquisition team (including 2 main functions: sales & account management) by leading, coaching, supporting & motivating through technical & commercial knowledge, communication transparency, winning spirit, fighting resilience and performance acknowledgement;
  • Coach and provide necessary training and development for all subordinates to increase their capabilities, productivity, creativity and motivation that will support both current functional goals and long term business growth;
  • Plan and develop acquisition and expansion activities in line with company strategy and policy in order to expand the market coverage, build the company image and achieve the targets;
  • Be accountable for final clarification of detailed information to merchants before signing the contract (scope of work/activities, final product, terms of payment, etc) in order to ensure that every project is effectively operated as planned;
  • Keep abreast of the market and industry situation and competitor activity in order to revise and develop strategies to meet market changes and merchants’ requirements;
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all products and services GrabPay offer.


The must haves:

Personal qualities

  • Excellent leadership skills, strong sense of applied strategy and business development;
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English;
  • Strong integrity and understanding of professionalism and code of conduct;
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, able to work independently and under pressure;
  • Able to work in dynamic and fast paced environment and to meet critical deadlines;
  • Able to build, manage, train, and motivate an expanding team;
  • Able to plan and prioritize tasks effectively.

Qualifications

  • University graduate or higher education in business or relevant fields;
  • Minimum 8-year experience in sales management with successful track records and strong ability to develop winning teams;
  • Good understanding and experience of the relevant industries including payment products, customers, partners and merchants.
