The day-to-day activities:

  • Responsible for formulation and execution of strategic initiatives through the development of work plans, gathering and generation of relevant data, driving analyses, and the development of actionable recommendations.

  • Provides short and long-term strategic recommendations to the Vertical Heads on business opportunities and Problem solving

  • Maintain and enhance Supply health/ Driver income/ Service quality via incentive programs, new product features/configuration and other initiatives.

  • Work closely with Vertical heads on Planning and control/balancing Driver retention budget among the verticals.

  • Work with Regional Products/Marketplace team to suggest/roll out new features/products in Vietnam to optimize Grab’s services quality for both Driver and Passengers.

  • Organize and lead a team of Business Intel & Data analytics & Market intel, oversee every team member ‘s activities and tasks to provide in-time market intel/ business performance metrics to Vertical heads.

The must haves:

  • Strong academic record from top tier institutions. Minimum bachelor degree.

  • At least 2 to 3 years of top tier management consulting experience.

  • Analytical skills, deep thinking, data driven problem-solving capability.

  • Customer Orientation: Understand the needs and expectations of customers and customer service mindset.

  • Excellent organisational, and problem solving/decision making skills.

  • Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.

  • Experience in operational topics and strategy implementation with hands-on engagement style

  • High levels of adaptability in working in a fluid start-up environment

  • Convincing executive presence and demonstrated influencing skills

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
