Head of GrabFinancial Group (GFG) Marketing, Philippines

Job requirement

Grab is looking for a GFG Marketing Head to join us in our Philippines office, located in Makati, Manila. In this role, you will take charge of all Marketing activities of GFG business including Payments, Consumer, Merchant, and Lending Marketing.

This is a senior leadership position that reports directly to Country Marketing Head and work closely with the Regional Payment Marketing team and Country Payment Business Head.

As part of the role you will oversee a team of Marketing Managers where you will act as both a Coach and Manager.


The day-to-day activities:

  • Lead the GFG Marketing team to achieve Marketing goals including Financials (user penetration, transactions, transaction value, profitability, etc.) and Brand (awareness, brand health, loyalty, etc.)
  • Develop Marketing strategy and Marketing plan for GrabPay and Grab Financial in the Philippines, aligning with Regional strategy, as well as the overall Country strategy.
  • Guide and supervise Marketing Managers of each line in the development and implementation of their marketing strategy and plan.
  • Manage team to execute strategy and plan with quality
  • Manage and control GFG Marketing budget
  • Coach and develop team members to build a quality team


The must haves:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in business, marketing, communications or related field

  • Experience in marketing field at least 8 years, including 4 years managing a team 

  • Experience in building holistic large scale marketing campaigns in SE Asia (preferably in the Philippines).

  • Experience in managing creative agencies / marketing production 

  • High competence in project and key stakeholder management

  • Experience working as part of a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong at communication, people management and leadership

  • Positive, professional attitude, team-work spirit

  • Experience with FMCGs and or Financial Services Marketing is a plus
