[Ha Noi] Tax Manager

Job requirement

1. Manage a full range of tax services of all offices and branches in Vietnam

  • Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals and purpose partnering with country, regional and corporate finance, tax, legal business and operations terms
  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
  • Manage and be responsible for implementing and maintaining Tax control policies and procedures of the Company in accordance with Group accounting policy, IAS, VAS and the Company’s accounting/tax regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks
  • Facilitate and manage the preparation and review all group companies’ tax returns and the accurate, timely filing of all tax forms
  • Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese and international tax law through a series of systems and system controls that are designed to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures and by best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary companies and branches taxes.
  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to direct Superior and the tax team and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
  • Prepare and simulate plan for VAT refund of the Group companies.
  • Facilitate and coordinate for any taxes audit of the Group companies: taxes audit before VAT refund, taxes clearance audit, taxes inspection…
  • In charge of preparing and working with relevant parties for TP documents (BEPS) and preparing documents to apply DTA where applicable.

2. Consolidation all Finance and Accounting reports

  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly internal accounting reports, analyses and recommendations to report to direct Superior.
  • Administrate monthly/quarterly/yearly managerial accounting reports, perform variance analysis.
  • Administrate and submit Global Group Package Reports following IFRS and submit to Group Head Quarter (monthly, quarterly and annually). Administrate to convert, reconcile and harmonize the Financial reports following VAS to Group Financial Package Reports and work with external auditor for reviewing before submission.
  • Administrate J-SOX FCRP of the Company for compliance with Group Headquarter requirements including design, assessment and delivers.
  • Prepare and follow up J-GAP and V-GAP with Global Group Accounting policies and IFRS.
  • Participate, support and prepare materials for strategic planning of the Company such as: yearly business plan, mid-term plan, finance plan, investment… (if required).

3. Relation with authorities

  • Create, maintain and promote external relations with local authorities in order to achieve Company’s compliance for taxes in accordance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate and work with tax professional advisor(s) for any issue of taxes.
  • Prepare and conduct regular or ad-hoc workshop, training for taxes update and professional training to Finance and Accounting Department and other departments.

4. Staffing

  • Overview and control manpower resource of tax team/reporting team.
  • Provide training, coaching, orientation, training, and disciplinary actions for the Department.

5. Others

  • Other assignments for reporting/tax works and activities by the direct Superior.

Job requirement

1. Education

  • University in Finance and Accounting.
  • Chief Accountant Certificate holder certified by MOF.

2. Experiences

  • Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of taxes: CIT, VAT, PIT, FCWT…
  • At least 7 years experienced in Finance and Accounting of MNC or big organization.
  • At least 5 years experienced in similar management position: Tax Manager.

3. Soft Skills

  • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  • Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements.
