Growth Operations Associate, GrabFood Medan

Get to know the role:

Support the GrabFood City GM and City Growth team in driving key operations initiatives for GrabFood to grow in Medan. You will focus on initiatives to optimize the GrabFood product from driving efficiency to unlocking potential growth. You will be in charge of understanding what our consumer wants and executing campaigns to make the experience of eating as exciting as possible.

The day-to-day activities:

• Use data to identify customer pain points and proposing solutions that will lead to improvement in business metrics

• Drive growth and eater visit-to-purchase conversion by making sure that content in the GrabFood app is presented in the best way possible. This includes thinking of ways on how we create and rank our food categories and food recommendations 

• Collaborate with marketing team to create appetizing advertisements in our marketing channels including but not limited online, offline, in-app, and activation

• Identify potential expansion areas where there it makes sense for us to expand our business

• Understand customer preferences and knows how to keep up with the latest food trends

• Work closely with the merchant operations, marketplace, and Account Management teams to streamline processes and creating hyper-local initiatives and campaigns

• Manage a team of contractors to execute hyper-local projects across the city

The must haves:

• Bachelor's degree

• Advanced written and spoken English

• Strong organisational skills - thrives in organizing and planning and loves project management

• Creative - always on the lookout to present bring something excitement to the market

• Keen attention to detail

• Good communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external stakeholders

• Data driven- ability to manipulate and use data to address customer pain points and improve the user experience
