Experience:
Ø Manage the technical team and oversee daily operations, including sample receiving, test handling, and review of test results.
Ø Handle incoming samples, prepare samples, and assign tests to technicians appropriately.
Ø Plan and organize team workload effectively to meet testing timelines and service quality requirements.
Ø Verify and document laboratory test records in compliance with internal and external standards.
Ø Develop, validate, and implement new testing methods as needed.
Ø Ensure all activities comply with HSE regulations, ISO/IEC 17025, and ISO 9001 requirements.
Ø Control and monitor the routine operation of the assigned technical team.
Ø Conduct internal training sessions for factory laboratories and ensure proper knowledge transfer.
Ø Perform audits or technical assessments at internal laboratories of suppliers to evaluate capability, compliance, and consistency.
Ø Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers’ labs to improve their testing practices and align with buyer requirements.
Ø Review and validate testing procedures and results from suppliers’ internal labs, when applicable.
Ø Inspire and guide technical staff toward achieving team goals and maintaining technical excellence.
Ø Identify opportunities for technical improvements and propose constructive solutions.
Ø Suggest internal process improvements along with practical recommendations.
Ø Perform other assigned duties as directed by the Technical Manager.
Ø Chemistry or Engineering.
Ø Experience & further Qualifications
Ø Five years’ experience in Textile, footwear testing Laboratory.
Ø At least 2 years’ experience of leader team.
Ø Experience in Garment and Footwear Production is priority.
Ø Good command of MS office
Ø Good organizing and planning skills
Ø Good time management skill
Ø Management/ leadership skills
Ø Problem solving and decision-making skills
Ø Responsible attitude and ability to motivate people
Ø Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Ø Willing to travel for audit and training for factory.
