We are looking for a self motivated, highly driven individual to partner closely with the Head of InfoSec on the information security strategy, operations, and program management. This individual will plan and direct all operational activities for the Head of InfoSec and serves as his extension to help drive initiatives and improvements throughout security & privacy engg., and tech compliance orgs ensuring long term success. S/he also organises and prioritises critical issues and required information for the executives to facilitate efficient decision making and will provide oversight and guidance to strategic projects of high importance and impact.

The ideal candidate will leverage strategic planning and advisory skills to enhance operations management and support the Head of InfoSec in the development and execution of global strategies related to information security. H/she will create structure to meet objectives in an often ambiguous environment with evolving information and multi task and deliver on several projects simultaneously in a fast paced, high visibility setting, requiring high degree of responsiveness and flexibility. Operationally optimise and leverage a set of teams of 120 and growing, aligning all the teams, driving cross functional OKRs and KPIs, managing organisational health and growth while streamlining execution to maximise productivity across the board. This is a high impact, high visibility role for a technology and business hybrid individual passionate about and experienced in the technical risk, and threat management space.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as an advisor to the Head of InfoSec in planning and directing all administrative, financial budget, and operational activities

· Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for executives to facilitate efficient & effective decision making

· Work with the Head of InfoSec to identify/manage/resolve issues and develop major goals

· Help build out long-term security strategies and initiatives

· Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives, implementing lean frameworks, processes, best practices, and the means to measure success

· Develop detailed program/project plans (including roadmaps, funding, capacity/resource planning and hiring goals)

· Program manage complex and large scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives from definition to launch. Interface with leaders in product, UX, data science, operations, engg. managers, tech leads, and/or engineers to do capacity planning, prioritization, estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage timelines. Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to upper management and project stakeholders. Engage and energize the project teams to achieve aggressive goals

· Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress. Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations and provide support to teams balancing competing priorities. Drive results proactively

· Ensure all staff issues are addressed properly, efficiently and judiciously, and keep track of progress until fully resolved

· Partner with the leadership and their extended teams to drive the communication and execution and continuity within the organization

· Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Finance, Legal, HR, Compliance, Trust & Safety, and multiple Engineering teams

· Set a strong communicate cadence to manage through changes and fast-paced growth

· Act as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders

· Represent the Head of InfoSec in relevant meetings, discussions and conference calls

· Work with the Head of Infosec to lead global strategy development and drive security program maturity

· Prepare internal briefings on the security program operations, strategy, and initiatives

· Prepare meeting agendas and materials for key leadership meetings

· Oversee the execution of the strategic and operational plans

· Approve policies developed within various sub-functions and departments

· Manage ad hoc requests / questions from Grab senior leadership

Desired Skills, Experience, & Qualifications

· 12+ years relevant experience with some mix of engineering, technical product/program/project management, engineering team management

· Experience with a mix of application security, network security, risk management, compliance, threat assessment, access management, and running security reviews

· Experience with risk evaluation and management - good risk-related intuition

· Deep knowledge of tech stacks, architectures, and technical security challenges and solutions in large scale, complex organizations. Knowledge of how to design and optimize for minimal tech debt

· High performing experience at a fast paced tech company

· Proven experience building effective working relationships with high-level internal stakeholders across multiple businesses, geographies and cultures

· Previous experience in a security consulting practice or programmanagement role is highly preferred

· Experience working in a highly matrixed technology focused environment with specific background in information security is preferred

· Proven ability to understand business-impacting issues, trends and perspectives

· Proactive approach to identifying problems and issues across organisations and ability to recommend and/or develop programs and processes to resolve them

· Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management and assessing top priorities and needs of the business

· An understanding of the nature and dynamics of the emerging security field globally is preferred

· Superior communication and project management skills

· Ability to work independently under pressure with competing priorities while consistently producing best-in-class deliverables

· Recognized leader who is dynamic, proactive and decisive

· Strategic and creative team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done

· Excellent problem solving, research and analytical skills

· Ability to interact and influence all levels within the firm, particularly leadership

· Works well under time pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

· Expert level research and presentation skills

· Masters degree in Computer Science and Business Administration preferred
