Scope of Position:

• The Golf Course Facilitator is entrusted with the responsibility/accountability pertaining to Golf Course logistics as set out by the Superintendent. The position will also have the Golf Course Training College component where initially the intake and administration procedures will be an integral part of the role.
• The role of the Golf Course Facilitator includes a close interactive relationship with the Superintendent, an effective liason with Purchasing and Human Resources to ensure that communication and transparency is achieved within the Golf Course Maintenance Department and the provision of administration and office management of the maintenance facilities and operations.
• The Golf Course Training College requirements for the role of the Golf Course Facilitator includes student enrolment and induction close link with Teachers and Principal to ensure the efficient application of logistics and record keeping.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Be a key communication liaison for HR requirements for the entire golf course maintenance staff, i.e. maintain the up-to-date position descriptions, staff information, staff hiring request, work attendance record, leave record, probationary and annual performance evaluations, etc.
• Ensure the work hygiene and safety of the Maintenance department are well controlled and maintained as set by the Labor Law.
• Ensure the Maintenance building areas are kept to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness and tidiness at all time.
• Assist in procurement of supplies and materials as well as manage the supply inventory of the maintenance department.
• Prepare account recaps on a monthly basis, prepare invoices and related documents for payment, maintain recording and filing of annual activities and costs of Golf Course Maintenance Department.
• Ensure an open and clear communication between staff and the Superintendent.
• Prepare meetings and subsequent minutes of meetings, reports and documents as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent.
• Participate in all translation involved with non-English speaking staff and students.
• Record the development and training of students in correlation with syllabus laid out by the College Principal, coordinate all maintenance staffing and student issues.
• Professionally draft and write company items of communication to deliver to upper management.
• Play a vital role in the Golf Course Maintenance Department’s and the Company’s culture application and staff logistics.
• Assist in preparing government documents and reports for both Environmental and Educational requirements.

Additional responsibilities:

• The Golf Course Facilitator assists in implementing philosophy of how the Golf Course Maintenance staff apply their skillsets. This philosophy is not just learned but evolves through a combination of education and experience over a period of time, this includes the Golf Course Training College.
• The Golf Course Facilitator must keep up to date on industry news, new technologies, innovations and practices through communication with the Superintendent.

Other Duties:

• Comply with all standards of performance, behaviour and operational policies and procedures in place at the Golf Club at all times.
• Participate in appropriated internal and external activities to enhance prestige of the Company.
• Perform other relevant duties as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent.
