Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Geospatial Analysis Team Leader to manage and grow our GIS capabilities. This role involves leading a Geospatial Data team and collaborating across departments to drive data quality, innovation, and scalability in our geospatial services. In this role, you will support various geospatial projects by analyzing geographic data, creating maps, and providing insights that assist in decision-making processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Geospatial Analysis Team (5 – 10 members), including task planning, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal training resources.
  • Collect, process, and analyze cadastral, zoning, and real estate development data.
  • Ensure data quality through validation, aggregation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the storage and synchronization of cadastral and planning data within internal systems.
  • Build and optimize automated and semi-automated GIS workflows using tools such as FME, Model Builder (ArcGIS Pro), Model Designer (QGIS), Spatial ETL, and Python.
  • Advise the Board of Directors on GIS strategy and implementation aligned with business goals.
  • Support cross-functional teams with expertise in cadastral and zoning data.

Job requirement

Experience:

  • 3–5 years in geospatial analysis, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or project management role within GIS.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong command of coordinate systems (VN2000, HN72, WGS84) and transformations.
  • Advanced skills in handling cadastral and planning datasets from basic to complex levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.

Tools & Technologies:

  • GIS Platforms: ArcGIS Pro, QGIS (including Model Builder/Designer)
  • ETL Tools: FME Form (formerly FME Desktop)
  • Databases: PostgreSQL with PostGIS extension
  • Server/Backend: GeoServer, Python (especially with Pandas, GeoPandas, Shapely)
  • CAD: MicroStation, AutoCAD

Data Formats:

  • Vector: *.shp, *.geojson, *.json, *.gdb
  • Raster: *.mbtiles, *.geotiff, *.pbf
  • CAD: *.dgn, *.dwg
