Get to know the Role:

The function is to oversee daily business activities, improving business functions, training heads of departments, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies and communicating business goals. Planning, organizing and managing operations to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.

Owning day to day operations and performance metrics, such as but not limited to market share, earnings growth, customer loyalty, employee satisfaction and outstanding processes.

Monitor competition, keep updated with the industry’s best practices. Direct activities related to driver recruitment and retention, and taxi fleet management. Perform other duties directed by higher management.


The day-to-day activities:

  • To lead overall operations functions for the taxi business
  • To develop strategies for driver recruitment
  • To manage and maintain high quality condition of fleet
  • To identify opportunities for new partnership and alliances
  • To develop strategies for raising revenue
  • To monitor business operation and ensure proper coordination across teams to achieve business goals in one direction and manage time line of projects
  • To gain an in-depth knowledge of the industry and contribute to its advancement
  • To represent the company in DOTr and LTFRB hearings if needed
  • To ensure compliance of operations with regulations
  • To develop and enhance business processes that will help the business scale
  • To enhances customer service quality
  • To lead and manage all the department supervisors


The must haves:

  • Minimum 7 years related working experience in fleet operations (car rentals/PUV)
  • Excellent project management ability, capable of leading multiple time-sensitive cross-functional projects
  • Should have sound knowledge of public transportation
  • Understanding of target market and its requirements
  • Strategic thinker capable of driving internal and external parties to a consensus on important issues
  • Experience working and negotiating with external business partners and vendors
  • Strong quantitative abilities and intuition, exceptional analytical skills
  • Creative and out of the box thinker
  • Ability to work in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and change
  • Strong customer focus & attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • BA required, MBA or MS Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Excellent Supply chain management skill
  • Strong Business development skill
  • Negotiation skill
  • Experience in fleet operations with involvement of drivers
  • Business and People management
