Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Order Management
Monitor outstanding orders and develop production schedules accordingly.
Set up and manage production plans to meet shipment deadlines.
Track and supervise the export plan and delivery timelines.
Coordinate closely with Purchasing, QA, QC, and Technical departments to ensure on-time delivery.
Customer Communication & Order Coordination
Communicate directly with customers regarding inspection status, shipment readiness, and shipment approvals.
Follow up with customers to expedite approvals and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
Confirm shipment dates with factories and keep customers informed.
Sample Development
Manage the progress of sample development and ensure timely delivery to clients.
Receive and update product design information from customers or the Customer Service team.
Handle color sample development based on customer-provided references.
Ensure full compliance in creating all new samples from customers or designers.
Send sample photos and status updates as requested by clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with relevant departments to gather complete product information for customer communication.
Update color codes and specifications for production use.
Support department heads with updates on work and order status.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Coordinate and track required product testing processes as needed.
Follow up on sample testing and ensure compliance with customer and internal standards.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare regular reports as requested by management.
Maintain updated records on project timelines, product samples, and development status.
Escalate issues to management when beyond personal resolution capacity.
Department Management Support
Support in implementing department and company plans.
Manage, monitor, and supervise tasks assigned within the department.
Execute other tasks as assigned by direct supervisors.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Development, Business, or related field.
At least 2–3 years of experience in product development, preferably in the furniture industry.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
