Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements

Job Duties

  • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Report to the AFM & CFO with timely and accurate financial information
  • Assist the AFM & CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

- At least 3 years working as relevant position

- Lots of energy and motivation

- In-depth knowledge and understanding of:

  • Budgeting, planning and statutory reporting
  • Treasury operations
  • Credit Control
  • Cost Management

- Work management, planning & organization

- Multitasking skills

- The ability to work to tight deadlines

- Mature, self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn and able to work under pressure.

- Preferably possessing a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting and/or suitable background experience in a business or finance environment, management experience; leadership skills; interpersonal skills; outstanding mathematical skills.
