The Finance Supervisor, Brand Building is responsible for managing the Category financial performance by maintaining frequent cross-departmental communication to effectively track and report on fluctuations in costs, prices, and sales. The role also compiles timely financial reports, analyze profitability factors, and develop financial plans for new/ existing product launches, and implement cost-saving solutions to meet category targets.
Job Duties:
1. Business Planning & Budgeting
· Develop and manage annual and rolling budgets (monthly, quarterly, yearly) for the Category.
· Prepare business cases for new product launches and relaunches.
· Forecast costs, risks, and opportunities, ensuring financial plans support business objectives.
· Support the Board of Directors with relevant financial data and strategic insights.
2. Management Reporting & Analysis
· Analyze category performance and variances, identifying trends and improvement areas.
· Prepare and deliver MUF and AP reports on a timely basis.
· Compile and assess data related to sales, costs, material and BOM pricing, working with factory teams.
· Present financial plans and performance updates to senior stakeholders.

5. Cost Accounting & Control
· Monitor and manage cost factors affecting profitability.
· Partner with operations (Manufacturing, MPO, R&D, Marketing, CMK) to ensure cost-saving initiatives are implemented and tracked.
· Provide cost estimations and financial options for market and non-market investment activities.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge on cost fluctuations in pricing, materials, and sales trends.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Engage regularly with Marketing, CMK, and other departments to ensure alignment on market conditions and industry updates.
· Facilitate communication among departments to support informed financial decisions.
· Drive initiatives in collaboration with other functions to achieve operational efficiencies and cost targets.
7. Systems Development & Risk Management
· Develop and maintain finance and management systems (EPM, BI, EBS).
· Ensure adherence to internal control standards and risk mitigation practices.
· Support implementation of tools that enhance data transparency and decision-making.
