Get to know the Role:
Tasks include planning and execution of social impact projects, particularly in the field of sustainability.
The day-to-day activities:
- Support execution and project management of Go-To-Market plans for social impact campaigns by working with vendors, internal teams and external parties across the region
- Responsible for performing research on eco-friendly impact and initiatives across industries
- Develop standardized processes and logistics flow to enable scalable green initiatives
- Be a culture champion for eco-friendly amongst internal stakeholders by planning and executing internal events and activities
- Liaise and follow up with key organizations (NGO’s, Ministries or third party companies) on eco-friendly projects and proposals
- Perform ad-hoc information gathering
The must haves:
- At least 1-2 years of working experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably with a focus on Economics/Finance/Business/Communications
- MS Excel (highly proficient)
- MS Powerpoint
- SQL programming
- Keen interest in problem solving for community issues at large, particularly in developing sustainable environment and empowering livelihoods of lower-income groups.
- Strong problem definition and solution skills, combined with an intellectual curiosity and love of learning
- Strong consultative and project management skills
- Finds it easy to work and communicate with people of all walks of life
- Curious by nature and enjoys learning and new challenges
- Organized, able to multi-task and work on tight timelines
