Executive City Lead Operations (Grab)

Get to know the Role:

• You will undergo a development plan incorporating on-the job training, cross-functional attachments, special projects / assignments and classroom training.

• You will also have frequent opportunities to meet with our senior management team.

• Accountable on partner acquisition and retention activities

• Able to strategize projects to increase city performance and constantly innovate the process flow of our operations

• Have existing relationship or able to bridge and maintain relationship with government, authorities and relevant partners key to the business

• Have strong business acumen and sense of ownership to help position Grab in favorable and legal positions in the city

• Ensure adherence to operating budget of all Financial operations

• Relentless and takes full ownership of the budget and targets

• Able to recruit A-Type team, groom and mentor them

• Able to work with other Country and Regional stakeholders

The day-to-day activities:

• You will be placed in reputable as City Lead’s across Indonesia

• Take lead on projects as outlined and assigned within each rotation

• Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management.

• You will be equipped with general technical and business acumen exposure to assume further responsibilities in the Company.

• Monitor performance progress of supply and demand with management and key trainers

• Initiate, support and manage the development and execution of the marketing campaign and activities

• Build, grow and maintain all channels of supply acquisition. Able to scale and grow fast

• Develop and maintain good relationship with key partners such as local government organization, car rental companies

• Work closely with City Management team in headquarters Jakarta to develop and execute market strategies

• Lead the analytics of supply demand to ensure optimal allocation, and ensure high-quality of the ride experience in local city

The must haves:

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia

• Good in written and spoken English

• Bachelor or Master Degree with GPA min 3.3 from Reputable National or Private University Graduates

• Have 5-7 years of working experience with 3-5 years at Managerial positions

• Understand the use of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word

• Excellent communication skills. Good interpersonal skills that enable one to work with people at all levels, to motivate and empower whenever necessary

• Experience in strategy and consulting is a plus point

• Management consulting experience preferred, commercial and marketing experience in related firms (e.g. FMCG, transport, logistics, technology)

• Able to make key business decisions or provide solid recommendations based on data & analytical thinking

• Self-starter and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

• Passionate about the social mission and making a positive impact in emerging markets

• Entrepreneurial, resourceful – Able to put on different hats; Goal is to achieve

• City targets with a “can-do” attitude

• Able to bridge, connect and maintain relationship with local partners and regulators

• Able to make key business decisions or provide solid recommendations based on data analytical thinking

• Strong leadership skills to mentor and grow the team

• Strong knowledge of the local market (Strong network within the taxi/transportation industry is preferred)

• Flexibility and willingness to travel

• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English

• Fluent in local dialect (plus point)
