Get to know the Role:
 

Be a part of the end to end application security implementation process, from reviewing application security architecture and design to overseeing the penetration testing and source code reviews. 

Evaluate and implement new technologies while keeping in view the cybersecurity risks, technology risks and regulatory compliance. 

Involved in reviewing various security aspects for new initiatives that interface and connect with external parties (like those involved in leveraging open standards and APIs).

Develop and implement a Cloud Security Design review process for cloud computing use, including IAAS, PAAS and SAAS implementations.

Provide advice on data protection and security controls in Big Data and data analytic implementations. 

Keep abreast with new technologies to ensure that the organisation remains at the forefront of security.

The must haves:
 

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information System; 

Strong experience in application and cyber security. 

Proven record in identification, investigation and resolution of potential IT security risks, controls and process gaps;.

Good understanding of authentication standards and protocols (OpenID, oAuth and SAML); 

Familiar with various cloud deployment models and cloud security standards (e.g. CSA and ABS guidelines).

Knowledge in cryptography standards and big data implementations; 

Hands-on experience in agile and continuous delivery practices, including automation tools and scripting.

Ability to constantly manage controls and processes with strong attention to details. 

Preempt any risks and mitigate any threats or problematic areas proactively. 

Strong problem solving and analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication. Strong team player and interpersonal skills. 

Experience with application security  setup and support for Oracle Fusion, Workday, Sales Force Modules.

Desirable Skill(s) 

Knowledgeable in Cobit, IM8, ISO27001/2 and international practices (NIST, STIG, CIS).

Has experience working on big data projects. 

Prior working experience within the financial sector.
