GrabExpress team is working to build the foundation of the logistics business for Grab. The service is operational in several countries in Southeast Asia and growing rapidly. In the process, GrabExpress team is handling some of the complex architecture, reliability, scalability problems in distributed systems and optimization problems in data science. The day-to-day activities:

• Build and own real-time logistics platform.

• Build a high-availability and scalable platform for package delivery.

• Manage and own the end-to-end lifecycle of designing a V1 system.

• Complete ownership of the product vision and team management while ensuring redundancy, delivery and scalability of your platform.

• Collaborate with product and user experience teams to continuously improve the product to delivery world a world-class customer experience.

• Continuously lead, mentor, hire and build your team.

The must haves:

• Have a track record of designing, developing and implementing large scale highly available online services.

• Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven technical design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability.

• Experience managing a team and growing an organization at different levels.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment

• 2+ years of engineering people management experience.
