Get to know the Role: 
As Strategic Projects Manager, you are at the core of the GrabFood Customer Success Team that focuses on improving our users’ benefit on our platform. Particularly, you will be developing and incubating new services that generate value for our restaurant partners. You’ll also be responsible for launching the operations and growing the services. This role is intense, you’ll be working in a startup like environment. You are a builder, you move fast and can get things done. To excel, you need to be highly self motivated, and be fiercely passionate about our restaurant partners’ success as much as ours’. We’re talking about an opportunity to shape the future of our restaurant partners in a high growth industry. 


You will fuel the growth of our partners in Indonesia, a large portion of your time will be spent on the ground to better understand local needs and to execute high-impact rollouts. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop business cases and models for strategic projects within GrabFood, targeted at increasing restaurants’ growth, retention, loyalty, lifetime value and net promoter score with GrabFood.
  • Design, prototype, pilot and incubate projects and new services, bring them from paper to fruition
  • Define the Go-to-market plan including developing sales & marketing strategies and tools that will launch and scale the new offering in the market.
  • Project manage and execute the launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams e.g. Sales, AM, BD and Restaurant Engagement/ Outreach, Product, Marketing, Legal 
  • Continually monitor and iterate the services based on feedback, increase their adoption and penetration in the market.
  • Role is based in Jakarta, and may require some travel.


The must haves:

  • Fluent in Bahasa and English
  • 6 - 10 years experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Bachelor in business, finance, economics or related fields 
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with strong business acumen and creative problem solving skills, love to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Highly empathetic for people and users, possess strong analytical skills and makes well-informed, data driven decisions
  • Strong project management skills, able to prioritize and deliver on multiple projects 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills who can work with multiple stakeholders externally and internally, 
  • Leader and team-player in one, you have excellent communication skills and can influence others
  • Prior experience in Tech, E-commerce, SaaS, B2b environment, operating within Southeast Asia is a plus but not mandatory.
