JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will join the Transport - Economy Services team, the largest service cluster within the Transport ecosystem. This role will work across multiple teams to drive strategic planning and operational improvements to our transport services. The core work of the Transport - Economy Services team involves maximizing business performance by being the true and objective voice on the ground – coupled with intellectually rigorous strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence. The impact of your work will be highly visible throughout Grab’s user experience and business strategy, and most importantly make the lives of our neighbours a little easier.
She or he will support the Economy Services Lead with influencing stakeholders across the company inclusive of operational and technical teams by providing analytical insights for service improvements through experience enhancements and potential opportunities to operate more efficiently. The ideal candidate will be analytical, structured, detail-oriented with a keen focus on building sustainable operations, at ease in complex cross-functional environments and have an ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Relationships: Develop strong relationships in a complex, collaborative environment with key stakeholders and partners across the company for the scoping, planning and preparation for product and user initiatives, with keen enthusiasm to reach the most ideal solution for our users and business
Strategic analysis : Provide strong problem-solving related to shaping strategic focus and operational approach for business initiatives by translating qualitative and quantitative data into key initiatives to be prioritized and/or to drive effective decision-making
Operational excellence : Translate strategic initiatives to operational level and help drive alignment between teams and towards operational excellence in implementation through execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, removes user friction, and creates improved processes, approaches and user engagement to the business
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2-3 years of experience in business operations, management consulting or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal people skills
Experience in problem solving, large scale planning & analysis and operational excellence
Background in analytics strongly recommended
Proficiency with MS Office / Google Suites - particularly Excel and PowerPoint
BA/BS degree required - Business, Economics and Data Science major preferred
Grab Vietnam
