Design Producer Associate

We are looking for a Design Producer Associate to help support our ever-growing Grab Design family. A role that serves as the primary coordinator and communicator of the department. This position collaborates with multiple project teams across boundaries of product design and technology. Belonging to DesignOps, a cross-functional team driving and amplifying the design delivery processes while improving our design systems, tools and services.

• Assist the Lead Design Producer to ensure that all aspects of a project coordination and planning are attended to for on-time completion

• Help ensure projects are running smoothly on schedule, highlight any blockers and dependencies to avoid interruptions, manage timely project communications updates and resolve conflicting priorities

• Works closely with the Design Leads and team, taking the initiative necessary to help maintain the design focus and quality from a project execution perspective and providing support wherever needed

• Keep track of the health of projects, such as potential risks and implications to timelines at all times, manages design review meetings and to take meeting notes of actionable items

• Make arrangements for meetings, presentations and trainings being organised

• Owns the administrative aspects for the department such as purchase requisitions management, new hires onboarding and vendor sourcing management

• Own, create and implement new procedures and processes to improve day-to-day teams’ operational efficiency in completing their projects

• Provide daily team support, enquiry assistance and procedures from seat allocation to hardware and software management (i.e. InVision, Zeplin and Sketch) to the maintenance of design facilities

• Facilitate the communication with the other supporting team such as Finance, IT and POPS

• Plan and coordinate the various design events from minor design workshops to complex out of office events.

• Have a can do attitude, a deep appreciation for the importance of user centred design and solving user problems

• Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and focus on key issues

• Able to provide structure and facilitate in decisions making with limited direction, understand when to collaborate with the greater team

• Have 3+ years of experience working in coordination, project planning or administration roles preferably in a design-related field or technology industry
