Deputy Purchasing General Manager

Job requirement

  • Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
  • Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
  • Managing vendor/partner relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. ( in transportation and warehousing area)
  • Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  • Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  • Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.

Job requirement

-       University degree at logistics major

-       Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing logistics; Technical knowledge of means of transport, lifting equipment, storage facilities, traffic laws, and commercial laws is an advantage.

-       Skills of using software and applications

-       Proficiency in spoken and written English

-       Communication skills; team work, negotiation skills with partners, suppliers; and human resource management.
