• Plan, lead, and report on complex projects in both the head office and the factory. This will include staffing and contracting with outside expertise, all while meeting stringent timelines. Business case development and presentation will be required. • Assist the GD with ad hoc research, analysis, and coordination with internal and external parties to support effective decision-making. • Map and analyze business processes in the head office, sales offices, and the factory. Develop and execute improvement plans to increase accuracy and efficiency, and decrease cost. • Support the Managing Director in needs-analysis, budgeting, acquisition and deployment for the management’s decision-making by understanding market and industry information requirements to fulfill these for each function accordingly. • Define and implement a knowledge management system to ensure the intelligence is retained within company and available for use globally within the Group.
• Position open to expatriates from Singapore, Europe, US; Asian or experience working in Vietnam is preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field & MBA degree. • Minimum 5 years’ experience at the management level with specific knowledge in lubricants or chemicals. • Industrial management background. • Experience with implementation of an ERP solution, especially SAP, is an advantage. • Understanding and experience in technical, process engineering and business aspects of cross-border project management, with competence in a manufacturing environment. • Product development experience would be an advantage. • Knowledge in accounting and finance. • Salient analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented. • Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English at a Board presentation level. • Functional understanding of the commercial legal framework of Vietnam.
