Demand Planning & Marketing Strategy (DPMS) is a relatively new function housed within Grab Marketing, with work spanning across the entire Southeast Asia region. The team will focus primarily on growing demand efficiently & effectively across all of Grab’s varied business units. The role will cover overall strategy, ideation (e.g., optimizing promos & developing innovative demand approaches), experimentation & ensuring successful implementation in-country.
Get to know the role:
Own a functional day-to-day responsibility in a demand planning function, while applying expertise to drive high impact initiatives for demand operations in-country.
The day-to-day activities:
Support the Demand Planning Head & Country Marketing Head (CMH) on overall demand generation operations & promo strategy within the given budget.
Provide oversight for in-country Marketing teams on demand generation initiatives.
Allocate budget appropriately for user acquisition & retention, based on market insights/competitive landscape.
Provide inputs to technical/product team on demand generation advancement.
Coordinate cross-functional experiments to generate insights in-line with business objectives.
Articulate insights to various key stakeholders, along with recommended actions.
Support the optimization of overall user funnel (from awareness to loyalty).
Work with Creative, Operations, Strategy, Product/Tech & Research teams to achieve the business objectives.
The must haves:
A minimum 3-6 years of relevant work experience in management/strategic consulting, telco (product/vertical management), marketing, booking apps, online payments/e-wallets, F&B/food/QSR, eCommerce and/or start-ups.
A degree with good results from a decent university in any discipline.
Primarily driven by quantitative outcome for all decision making.
Ability to consistently perform comfortably under pressure in a dynamic, ultra-fast paced environment.
Ability to construct & deliver clear presentations to senior company stakeholders.
Excellent ability to build consensus & support across different teams/countries.
Experience in analysing & quantifying complex strategic issues tied to long term business growth.
Experience in project managing complex, cross-functional projects.
