Experience:
Prepare and process customs clearance documents for import and export shipments.
Liaise with customs authorities and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely clearance.
Review and verify shipping documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, customs declaration forms, etc.
Classify goods and determine accurate HS codes and applicable tax rates.
Monitor the declaration status in the VNACCS/VCIS system and resolve any customs-related issues.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouses, and transport providers to ensure on-time delivery.
Stay updated on customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and import-export policies.
Maintain proper documentation and filing systems for audits and post-clearance checks.
College or University degree in Foreign Trade, Customs, Logistics, or related fields.
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in customs clearance or import-export operations.
Good knowledge of customs procedures, trade compliance, and import/export laws.
Familiar with VNACCS/VCIS system and e-customs declaration processes.
Customs brokerage certification is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with customs software is a plus.
