Experience:
Main Responsibility: Manage and oversee all customs clearance operations for road transport at the border gate, ensuring timeliness, legal compliance, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the customs clearance team to ensure timely and high-quality performance.
- Have a deep understanding of customs procedures, documentation, and cross-border logistics operations, especially on the China–Vietnam road transport route.
- Handle arising issues related to import/export operations and customs procedures on behalf of customers.
- Monitor cargo movement schedules and coordinate with relevant departments and partners to ensure on-time delivery and clearance.
- Take full responsibility for resolving all customs and transport-related issues for import/export shipments at the border gates.
- Provide professional advice to clients on customs procedures, documentation, and legal regulations related to import and export activities.
- Ensure smooth collaboration with external and internal stakeholders (e.g., customs authorities, border control, freight forwarders, transport companies) to deliver excellent service to clients.
- Be meticulous, proactive, and capable of working independently under high pressure.
- Prepare regular reports and perform other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Import-Export, Logistics, Customs, or related fields.
- 4–5 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in customs and freight forwarding.
- In-depth knowledge of customs declaration processes, licensing for goods clearance, and relevant legal regulations.
- Proven experience in team management or team coordination.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Experience with China–Vietnam cross-border road transport.
- Chinese language skills are an advantage.
