Job Context & Purpose
Modern Trade is a strategic team within Home Care Business Unit in Unilever. We ensure that Customer plans fit with channel/customer and shoppers’ needs in order to maximize benefit for the Business Unit and our Customers.
Home Care Key Account Assistant Manager develops and executes joint business plan with SGC customers. He/she is responsible for the achievement of turn over target, the Unilever market share, the P&L of the category in Home Care business and the engagement of Unilever cross-functions with such customer groups.
Main Responsibilities
Customer Strategy and Business Plan
Spearheaded the strategic planning and flawless execution of Perfect Store KPIs, fully aligned with Unilever’s global 6Ps framework (Product, Packaging, Price, Place, Promotion, Proposition).
Develop relationship with customers
Develops the customer strategic business plan for his/her respective customer. Work out a joint customer business plan for his/her respective customer. Lead and execute Joint Business Planning according to the standards together with the customer.
Develop, implement and execute a Cell Approach plan in close collaboration with the customer, CSP and BU
Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams—particularly Supply Chain and Demand Planning—to ensure robust demand forecasting, stock availability, and seamless operations along the supply continuum.
Develop and guides implementation of customer events
Provide clear objectives and deliverables for the field team, under responsibility of Field Operation Team
Negotiation
Closes the deal with the Customer by negotiating the trade terms, trade funding, and counterparts according to the UL strategy on his/her customer
Manages overall levels of Customer Investments for his customers
Monitors Customer Performance by tracking customer contribution and market share for major categories
4+ years of experience in Sales (FMGC)
Two to three roles in Customer Marketing/Trade Category Management and Account Management / Field Sales (when wanting to pursuit a Customer Development career)
Customer Facing experience combined with Brand Building experience is ideal
