Compliance Supervisor – Food Safety & Hygiene

JOB PURPOSE

• Evaluate and monitor the company and all departments within MCH to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to Food Safety & Hygiene and other assigned operational activities.
• Participate in developing compliance policies and support compliance culture training within the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Compliance Policy Development

• Support the Compliance Manager in designing company-wide policies and procedures in line with legal and internal standards.
• Help build a compliance monitoring system that identifies risks early and supports better planning and control.

2. Supervision & Auditing

• Plan and conduct both scheduled and surprise internal compliance audits.
• Detect risks or issues and propose corrective actions related to operational or product quality management.
• Monitor updates to laws, industry standards, and internal policies that impact operations and product quality governance.
• Assist in overseeing compliance in other assigned areas.
• Follow up on post-audit action plans and preventative measures.

3. Advisory & Training

• Help foster a compliance culture through communications and training that effectively convey regulatory requirements.
• Analyze the impact of training and communication efforts.
• Provide compliance-related advice and recommendations to relevant departments.

4. Reporting

• Submit ad-hoc or scheduled reports to the Compliance Manager on the status of compliance.
• Manage a reporting system and feedback channels for post-audit corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, preferably related to Quality Management or Food Science. Additional qualifications in Business Administration or Law are a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in compliance, governance, or quality assurance in large-scale companies—preferably in FMCG.
• Strong grasp of legal and industry standards, especially in product quality management and operational compliance (e.g., HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP, BRCGS).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis, visualization, or graphic design tools is a bonus.
• Proficient in English.
