Grab’s lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credits to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualization, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.

Get to know the role

As Communication associate, your role is to ensure successful communication between GFSA and its clients (drivers, merchants and passengers), especially during the origination and on-boarding process

Day to Day activities

1. Work with the commercial team to understand the purpose and need of various customer communications

2. Draft appropriate communications i.e. SMS / App / social media which will serve the business purpose and is also in line with Grab's brand guidelines

3. Work with marketing, other departments and vendors to ensure the communication is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner

4. Use data to make improvements in the communications process which can drive business results

5. Identify and implement technology that can reduce the time, improve the effectiveness of the communications across channles

Must haves

A bachelor degree - preferably in business management, media, mass communications etc

At least 3 years of marketing and communications role in a consumer focused business, preferably in retail. Have experience of leading a small team.

Familiar with digital tools: develop contents, measure and improve communication effectiveness across channels (SMS, social media, email, in app etc ).

Good oral and creative written communications skills in both English and the local country language

Good Microsoft office (Excel and Power Point ) skills. Preferred to have experience with graphic design

Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in a dynamic and fast paced environment

Ability to work independently

Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills
