Grab’s lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credits to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualisation, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.
Get to know the Role:
- Provides MIS/ analytics and tools to help Head of Collections to take decisions and improve performance.
- Create various metrics to track and increase efficiency of collection strategies, operations, operator’s performance and portfolio performance.
- Coordinate with Application Owners and Process Owners to understand business requirements. Formalisation & prioritisation of requirements. Coordination with IT-developers team during implementation process.
- Maintain the reports and queries used.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects monitoring progress and ensure completion within planned timelines.
- Evaluate vendor proposals to determine application, infrastructure, budget and resource requirements for the projects related to Collections MIS development.
- Responsible for teams: Recruitment, train, supervise and guide staff. Manage and evaluate team to identify the needs for technical and professional growth, evaluate employee’s performance and provides guidance and feedback.
The Must Haves:
- Must possess bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field.
- Expert in BI, SQL, MsOffice
- Experience with enterprise and business intelligence applications, especially in finance, operations, risk management and collections.
- Experience with in-house development and packaged software implementation.
- Experience in organizing databases, reporting & MIS from scratch.
- Strengths in problem solving, ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to influence others internally and externally.
