Job Purpose
Part of the core GrabFood city Palembang team, to lead and grow the business. Build strong local operational processes, working with local and country teams. Drive improvements in merchant engagement and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional
- Responsible for local merchant engagement and experience. This includes driving local merchant communication channels, building processes to improve merchant content, project management of business initiatives, and understanding and addressing local pain points.
- Proactive collaboration with local Sales and Account Managers, as well as country teams and product teams to improve city merchant operations and internal processes.
- Manage local team for on ground operational work.
People
Hire and manage strong local operations team
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in consulting, operations management, financial services, or start-up/tech industry
- Strong people and stakeholder management experience
- Understand how to build processes
- Great communication/interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (read/write) in English
- Ability to use and analyse data to inform decisions
- Willing to be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership including the ability to project manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous environment
- Relevant F&B industry would be ideal
