Experience:
1. Ensure that the book is closed accurately and on time every month. Make sure all balance sheets and PNL accounts are correct before closing the book, with explanations for long aging items.
2. Understand the breakdown of the balance sheet.
3. Analyze the production report: Yield and stock price every month.
4. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
5. Prepare and provide explanations for any variances in expenses, including manufacturing expenses and general overhead.
6. Update and control credit limits, credit days, AR/AP aging.
7. Review & comment on the credit exposure report.
8. Manage the monthly inventory reports, reconcile actual stock with warehouse reports.
9. Lead the monthly stock count and mid-year fixed asset count, reconcile book and actual values, identify and address any variances.
10. Collaborate with the tax/ legal teams on matters related to taxes, contracts, customs.
11. Prepare and post accrued expenses on time and ensure no expenses are missing in the period.
12. Control costs that are under-budgeted and prepare related analysis reports.
13. Proactively detect and address potential compliance issues.
14. Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers.
15. Collaborate with other teams to achieve shared goals.
16. Assist the FM with internal and external audits.
17. Assist the FM in preparing and forecasting the budget.
18. Perform other ad-hoc tasks and analysis reports assigned by the Department Manager/BOD.
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance/ accounting
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting in Multi Culture Manufacturing industry, SAP or ERP experience is plus.
3. Good in English communication is a MUST.
4. Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details.
5. Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal.
6. Able to motivate the team and lead by example.
7. Good in Excel and MS office.
