CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

MRS Group is a multi-industry corporation with a network of member companies operating in agricultural exports, steel trading, manufacturing, and technology. With a strategic focus on sustainable development and the professionalization of its management system, MRS Group is gradually building a modern, transparent, and standardized financial and accounting management system aligned with international standards (IFRS).

We are currently undergoing a comprehensive restructuring of the Group’s accounting system, implementing ERP, and automating financial processes. This is a critical phase, ideal for experienced, proactive professionals with a mindset for continuous improvement to join us in building a strong financial foundation for the Group’s long-term development.

The Chief Accountant is a key leadership role responsible for:

• Designing and managing an integrated accounting system across the parent company and its subsidiaries.

• Ensuring financial transparency and legal compliance throughout the organization.

• Acting as a strategic liaison with domestic and international banks and financial institutions.

• Serving as a financial advisor to senior management for decision-making and corporate development.

This is not just a technical accounting position — it's a leadership role that will leave a strategic mark on MRS Group’s entire financial system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage the Group’s Accounting System

• Establish, monitor, and standardize accounting procedures at member companies.

• Develop unified accounting templates and standards for the entire Group.

• Review and supervise accounting operations, internal financial reports, and the Group’s consolidated reports.

2. Financial Reporting & Tax

• Prepare consolidated financial statements on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Analyze financial and business performance and provide improvement recommendations.

• Oversee accurate and timely tax declarations, submissions, and finalizations.

• Work with tax authorities, auditors, legal consultants, and related stakeholders.

3. Manage Domestic & International Banking Relations

• Establish and maintain relationships with banks (local and international) for international payments, Letters of Credit (LC), export financing, and trade finance.

• Prepare loan and guarantee documentation, negotiate credit terms, and monitor cash flow and interest rates.

• Evaluate and advise on financial risks related to foreign exchange and international payments.

4. Financial System Development & Advisory

• Coordinate the implementation and operation of ERP accounting systems (if applicable).

• Propose the use of accounting automation tools (OCR, RPA).

• Stay updated with IFRS and recommend appropriate application (especially for multinational export activities).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing. Chief Accountant Certificate required.

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, including 3 years in a similar role at a company engaged in import-export activities.

• Direct experience working with international banks; strong understanding of LC, TTR, trade finance, and bank guarantees.

• Preferred candidates with experience in:

  • Managing accounting systems across multiple domestic and international entities

  • ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle, MISA AMIS, etc.)

• English: Proficient in communication and reading international financial/banking documents.

• Strong leadership, analytical, control, and communication skills.
