Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst focuses on creating, managing, and optimizing BI platforms to stakeholders with actionable insights. This role emphasizes building centralized reporting systems, streamlining business processes, and ensuring decision-makers have the data needed for strategic planning. Responsibilities include designing BI strategies, managing data pipelines, and leading initiatives to improve data-driven decision-making processes

• Collaborate with Business Units: Work closely with business leaders to identify information needs and translate them into BI strategies and solutions.
• Design and Implement BI Systems: Develop and maintain scalable BI platforms, centralized dashboards, and self-service analytics tools using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Build and Optimize Data Pipelines: Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring seamless data flow from various sources.
• Create Actionable Reports: Deliver detailed performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and custom reports tailored to operational and strategic business goals.
• Business Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business workflows using BI tools and solutions.
• ·Stakeholder Training: Train end-users to maximize the utility of BI platforms, ensuring they can access and interpret data independently.
• Data Governance and Security: Enforce data security and governance protocols, ensuring data compliance and reliability across all BI outputs.
• Performance Tracking: Implement tools to monitor the performance of BI systems, optimize reporting efficiency, and ensure consistent uptime.
• Trend Analysis and Forecasting: Utilize BI tools for long-term business trend analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting.
• BI Strategy Development: Lead the creation of BI roadmaps, aligning BI strategies with overall business objectives to ensure scalability and long-term value.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in managing and deploying BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying, data transformation, and analytics.
• Experience working with ETL tools and building data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices and user-centered design principles.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful BI solutions.
