  • The Moca team is a young and established team responsible for being the number one payment company in Vietnam. We make an impact by making cashless payment is popular in our society;
  • Our Business Development team is made up of young and enthusiastic people, which focuses on strategy deals with banks and big partnerships. The team works closely with the Strategy team to understand the actions of competitors and devise plans, and also works very closely with the Technical team, Operation team to connect with new partnerships.

Get to know the Role

  • Project manage various Business Development initiatives to ensure it meets company KPIs;
  • Serve as a key member of the Business Development team to define the current payment landscape, strategize and execute top business development/partnership opportunities.
 
Day-to-Day Activities

  • Special focus on negotiating deals with payment services providers (Bank, big Partnership…) to ensure a strategic payment channel mix and low cost of funds;
  • Leverage Moca’s business development network and generate new leads as required;
  • Develop a business development plan focused on growing the business through partnerships; 
  • Actively identify prospects/partners across various industries to engage by effectively developing and communicating a clear Moca value proposition to the partner’s business;
  • Drive deals end-to-end from closure to execution and maintain key relationships at senior levels of small/medium/large bank and businesses;
  • Drive strategic implementation through reviewing, approving and integrating key initiatives, and processes to achieve short and long term strategy for Moca and Grab Financial Group;
  • Coordinate closely with other internal functions like technical, product, operations and compliance teams to process the connection and collaboration with partners;
  • Support the partnership process from building relationships to developing, negotiating and securing contracts;

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in Business development or developing strategic partnerships for payment, card or e-banking operations, in banks or e-payment firms;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both Vietnamese and English;
  • Strong partnership network preferred;
  • Self-learning, able to pick things up fast, and extremely resourceful;
  • Proactive, energetic, fast pace, meticulous.
