Get to know the Role:

As the Business Development Lead, you will be reporting directly to the Indonesia Business Development Manager and your team will be building partnerships with companies large and small to enable our service across Indonesia.

The day-to-day activities (non-exhaustive):

  • Serve as a key member of the GrabWheels Business Development Team to define the current landscape, strategize and execute top business development/partnership opportunities

  • Leverage Grab’s business development network and generate new leads

  • Work closely with GrabWheels’ Ops, Marketing, Product teams to ensure alignment of BD/Sales focus with expansion strategy

  • Continuously own the development and execution of all business development initiatives, ensuring proper planning and on time, on target execution

  • Take ownership of the structuring, negotiation, and closing of commercial deals while ensuring alignment with the business financial OKRs

  • Manage sales teams across major cities to acquire small/medium sized partners

The must haves:

  • 4-5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development

  • Proven ability to blend business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted, win-win deals

  • Proven ability to lead sales teams that delivers against targets

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively

  • Advanced and above in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Passion for micro mobility
